That's right people. I am back in action, from halfway across the country for now. We've been in our apartment for exactly a week and i finally shopped enough to really cook dinner and bake tonight. I'm not quite settled enough to have taken pictures of my masterpiece, but I made cheesecake brownies a la SmittenKitchen and shes got some great pictures up there! The only change I made was not adding the chocolate chips to the top, because I kind of forgot and I don't really love chocolate chips anyway.
Fortunately, in spite of the fact that our bed BARELY fits in the bedroom and the closet is fairly tightly packed, the kitchen in our apartment is quite large, even for for an apartment twice its size. I even have a few empty shelves in the cabinets (we left about 1/2 of our kitchen supplies at Sean's parents house in NC). I'm having a hard time adjusting to not having a pantry but thanks to The Container Store, we're coping. I'm looking forward to cooking more regularly, and posting some pictures too.
Next week is Connor's third birthday and Sister and I are planning an awesome cake, and in the next year, I've got one very special wedding to bake for, and I'm hoping to get an invite to bake cookies for a couple of showers for my favorite girls in all of Louisiana ;)

Ah, but you could also be referring to Jessica? Well I'm going to pretend its me :). I want to see pictures, I'm very curious to see what a Yankee apartment looks like!
